Conversation Heart Cookie Sandwiches via I Spy DIY
1 c. Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 1/4 c. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. Almond extract
3 c. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
Red gel food coloring
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar in a large bowl. Add in the egg, vanilla and almond extract, mix until combined. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet one until combined. Divide dough into two bowls and add 1/8 teaspoon of gel food coloring into each. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour. Once dough is chilled, set out for five to 10 minutes before using. Flour your work surface and roll dough out to 1/4" thick before using a heart shaped cookie cutter. Place onto a baking sheet and bake for seven to nine minutes. Let cookies cool before piping your frosting on the bottom side of each cookie. Place two together to form a sandwich and roll in sprinkles.

1 Baked Betty Crocker Chocolate Cake
16 oz. Betty Crocker Chocolate Frosting
Wilton Candy Melts in pink and bright white
Put the baked cake into a large bowl and break into fine crumbs. Stir in the frosting, adding just enough to hold the cake together. Form the cake mixture (approximately a tablespoon for each) into a ball and flatten slightly before molding it into a heart shape. Use a toothpick to refine the edges. Place the hearts on their sides on a parchment-lined baking sheet, insert the lollipop sticks and freeze for one hour. Microwave the candy melts following the instructions on the package before adding in two teaspoons of vegetable shortening. Dip each heart into the candy melts and put back onto the baking sheet to harden. Once hardened, decorate the pops as desired and place into the fridge. Cut arrows out of the gold cardstock and glue onto the end of each lollipop stick once candy melts have hardened.

3/4 c. Softened butter
1/2 c. Brown sugar
1/2 c. White sugar
1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. Red velvet cake mix (dry)
1 1/4 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1 1/2 c. White chocolate chips
Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg and vanilla until combined. Finally add in the red velvet cake mix, flour and baking soda until dough is formed. Stir in one cup of white chocolate chips. Chill overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray baking sheets with cooking spray. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough approximately two inches apart and bake for nine to 11 minutes. Place the reserved white chocolate chips onto the tops and allow to cool.
